On a Pin / Lock the Doors is Haunted Stereo's first release for Sotones, and follows hot on the heels of their 'Cross The Sea' EP, which won critcal acclaim (including a Q Magazine Track of The Day spot) last year for its ghostly arrangements and lush harmonies. These two tracks share that same care and attention to detail, while invoking altogether poppier gods in their short, sharp, upbeat cuts. 'On a Pin' takes a classic T.S. Elliot poem and drags it screaming into the 21st century over an Alice In Wonderland beat, while 'Lock The Doors' stomps along with moody, reckless intent anchored by the piano riff of the year...
