Multimedia Producer (ad-hoc)

We're looking for someone to work with to help us develop video blogs and podcasts for embedding on our MySpace, Facebook and YouTube pages as well as on the main www.sotones.co.uk site.

Ideally you've already got a track record of producing multimedia and be familiar with common audio and video editing software. We can't give you a massive budget to work with, but you will get fantastic access to some cracking bands on their way up the mountainside of rock'n'roll, as well as plenty of hardcore parties.

We're looking to produce a series of regular monthly or fortnightly videos, from a combination of live, interview and documentary footage. You should expect some late nights but also be ready to catch the action on the odd early morning too. No-one's gonna crack the whip on you, so you should be able to get yourself motivated.

This role would suit a media student looking for a coursework project or simply comissions to add to their portfolio. We're particularly keen to work with people who are able to deliver to an agreed timetable as part of our overall promotional global mega-domination strategy

Public Relations Assistant (part-time)

Sotones is looking to expand our in-house PR department. We want party-hearty but reliable PR gonzos to liase with artists' press agents (where they have them) and also directly with journalists at local and national media outlets.

Experience in music PR would be desireable but not neccessary. Initially you'll be working within our existing promotion strategy, then later taking on more responsibility for spreading the word about Sotones and all the great music our artists make.

Our ideal new best PR bunny would have good spoken and written English skills, as well as familiarity with blogs, MySpace and Facebook. They're an original thinker of great crazy schemes with bags of energy, great under pressure and the last to pass out at the party, but also the first up in the morning to make the follow-up calls and emails.

Artist / Graphic Designer (ad-hoc)

We're always on the lookout for artists and graphic designers to help us continually update and refine the look, feel and flava of the Sotones site, our flyers and our visual presentation generally.

In particular, over the next few months we want to roll out unique artist minisites for all the acts on the label - this is a great chance to help develop and implement a completely original, distinct, captivating graphical concept for an emerging artist. Working with bands, managers and the webmasters, you'll help generate new ideas and take them through to a professional finished presence that thousands of people are gonna see.

Host / Street teamster (part-time)

Want to get in on the guestlist to all the parties and gigs everytime, win all our hearts, and generally be a filthy ligger? We're always on the lookout for people to join our event promo/street teams. In exchange for getting your face out there and helping us to spread the word and get people down to make great events, you'll not only be a genuinely Very Important Partygoer in our opinion but also get other goodies like merch, CDs and of course advance listens to all the new tracks as we get them.

Mail-order / office assistant (part-time)

We always have an ongoing need for people to stuff envelopes, chop flyers, count dosh, check stock and pitch in with all the boring grown-up stuff that has to happen around here to keep the wheels turning. You don't need any special experience for this sort of thing and no-one's pretending it's much fun, but you'll be really, really, really helping us all out!
