Winchester live dance duo JayetAl's first studio album, 'Where No City Lights' was one of Hampshire's most eagerly awaited releases of 2007. Their passionate and euphoric live sets already being the stuff of local legend, Where No City Lights brought their sound to a new audience, able at last to discern from the home hi-fi the delicate, haunting back-melodies that counterpoint the blistering wall of noise Jay and Al conjure up between their drums and guitars live.
With invited showcase shows across europe - including a snowblown Estonian castle - under their belts, the duo have proven that daring musical imagination beautifully realised transcends borders and we're eagerly waiting to see what happens to them this year as they embark on a full UK tour this spring organised by noted leftfield promoter Andy Rossiter (Ejector Seat) before sitting down to write their second album.
